Beauwin Thomas Walker is 3!!

3 years ago with his big cousin, Jett! I remember it well, Tim & I decided to take a "leisurely" drive up to Payson, AZ on 7/25/05. Well, little did we know the drive "down" was a bit topsy/turvy. I finally told Tim I needed to lie down fearful (but secretly hoping at 5 days overdue!) I would go into labor. We got home safely to start thinking about our induction scheduled for 2 days later. Luckily our boy had other plans! I settled in to bed watching the Tour de France - man, Lance Armstrong is handsome - ohh, where was I? So I started contracting but by that time was dozing off - those who know me know that I can "doze" off and into a deep sleep pretty quickly - it's actually a little frightening. But I kept dreaming about the Tour de Lance - I mean FRANCE! And couldn't remember when I had nodded off OR how long in between contractions. Needless to say, this novice figured it out & later that day (7/26/05) we welcomed our beautiful boy - Beauwin Thomas Walker Maher. Fast forward 3 years...

3 things I LOVE about BeauBear:

1. his bright smile especially when I come home - even if I've only been gone 30 mins.
2. his passion for his hobbies - lately it's "BAKSETBALL" - if I tell him his sneakers are "basketball" sneakers - he will wear them!
3. he tells me he loves me everyday - and he says it REALLY fast!

We celebrated in style to a Thomas the Train themed party complete with decorated cupcakes! Darn they were cute AND yummy! Beauwin LOVES when his cousins "Dett & Bookie" (Jett & Brookly) are around - especially swimming. In Beauwin's honor - we had a dive/belly flop contest - what a blast! Beauwin did not disappoint - with a perfectly executed Teacher Kathi style dive (complete with pause for toe touch) - he threw ALL competition (even the reigning champ, Uncle Shaun)!

Ireland was here - she just slept through all the good parts :)
