Our BEST GUY is 4 today!!!!!

It is true - Tim & I keep thinking "where has the time gone??"

We were reminiscing yesterday about our impromptu idea to take a ride to Prescott (a topsy-turvy 2 hour drive) 4 years ago on 7/25. At this point I was 5 days overdue & we just wanted to escape the heat - a little daring. Low and behold, driving home, it was getting really bouncy & turny (I just made that word up) - I honestly thought I'd go into labor and have to deliver in some make-shift hospital in the 'sticks' of Arizona with an Indian over me - sweet. SO - I told Tim I needed to close my eyes & nap. Haha. That night I snuggled in & watched the Tour de Lance, er France - I kept falling asleep dreaming of a spandex-clad Lance - haha, kind of gross, but it was helping me sleep anyway. But I kept waking to contractions - but couldn't remember what time I'd drifted off, so I wasn't able to time, oh well zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Hah - real nervous 1st time mom, huh? Anyway - a few hours later, we checked into Banner Desert much more advanced at 5 cm than the admitting nurses thought I was because I was a FREAKING TROOPER (yes, I am patting my wimpy self on the back) - a WONDERFUL epidural and few hours later - we had a darling boy in our arms - It was SO exciting. .

I can honestly tell you the excitement has NOT let up. This guy is the BEST - he's so funny and spunky (even too spunky sometimes), smart and loving (even to "Sizzer"). I will post pics later of his fabulous helicopter pool party (at Gram & Papa's) - it was a great celebration of our Beau Bear, Jingy Bear, Jings - our BEST guy! We love you more than an Apache helicopter, Beauwin Thomas Walker Maher!!! Here's a walk down memory lane...(for some reason I can't format the order of pics, sorry).
